Arizona Dream Builder Foundation Logo

The ‘call to action’ of the Foundation is: “Internships Strengthen Opportunities for Success” (I-SOS). This concept has spawned the vision that companies and organizations will step up to the challenge and hire selected youth of Arizona for internships. The Foundation therefore partners with Arizona corporations, community organizations, business owners and individuals that support access to the knowledge and resources through mentorship and internships that young Arizonans need to establish a firm foundation on which to build better lives.

Dream Intern Program

The Dream Intern Program pairs our Dream Interns with the wonderful companies and organizations that sponsor a paid internship. The program begins with a workshop week in which our dream interns learn important career skills such as communication, teamwork, and business ethics. This internship lasts 7 weeks and is the basis for which our dream interns can begin their journey in achieving their dreams.

The 2009 Dream Intern program was very successful as we had 6 excellent interns at 3 different companies.

Our Dream Interns…
Krisitina Erickson, Juan Figuero, David Tellez, and Akaila Powell were with the Maricopa Communtiy Colleges District
Mitchell Buglewicz was with D.P. Electric, Inc.
Ambra Jordan was with Zwillinger and Greek P.C.
